  • Representing defendants, obtained a complete dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction of a defamation lawsuit against a foreign newspaper and its alleged contributors.
  • Settled a $500,000 insurance subrogation action on behalf of the defendant for pennies on the dollar.
  • Obtained a favorable settlement in an action against a credit card issuer by a company with an “affinity agreement” with the issuer.
  • In an administrative appeal, obtained in a pro bono matter the first reversal in approximately two decades of an administrative citation that (i) condemned home as substandard and (ii) ordered the owners to vacate.
  • Obtained transfer, while representing the defendants, of breach of contract action from the Eastern District of Missouri to the Northern District of California.
  • Representing the plaintiffs, successfully overcame a motion to quash service of summons for lack of personal jurisdiction in a securities fraud lawsuit.
  • Secured an order, while representing the defendants, for an enterprise software company and its sales director, dismissing 14 of 16 claims, including fraud and breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, with prejudice in an action pending in the Northern District of California.
